THE REASON OF THEIR NAMES
These are their official names, in home you can name them with the name you like.
We carry on with our particular tribute to the music:
Itoiz, Donosti's great pop band that in the 80s was at its pick with a
few good songs.
Imaiden (Iron Maiden), British, leaded by the vocalist Bruce Dickinson, who I had the pleasure of meeting
in the Rock Machina Festival celebrated in Moncofa.
Iggypop, don't need much introduction... Iggy Pop, since 1960 with The
Stooges, and then until now with his solo career, high school's punk rock.
Iandury, separating the word is Ian Dury. With
"Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick" got the number 1 in the English lists in 1978. Rock n Roll, Punk, New Wave. I enjoyed him in a concert in
the 80s with the guitarrist Wilko Johnson.
Isla, nice name for a beautiful doggy and more emotive when I remind that I was born
in the Canary Islands, but it's in honour of the flamenco cantaor and bailaor Alvaro de la Isla, not very known, but he left his
mark in all the flamenco bars in the 60s. We know that Camaron was "de la Isla" too, but in the C litter we made him his little
tribute.
Ibutterfly, Iron Butterfly, american band that in the sixties published the mythical disc In-A-Gadda-Da-Vidan
that included a song titled like that with a 17 minutes duration. Psychedelic rock of quality.
Imperio... Pastora Imperio,
we're back with Flamenco and one of its best bailaoras. This Sevillian is Pastora Vega's grandma, Inmanol Arias' wife (what a great guy!!).
A really deserved tribute.
Pedro Infante, renowned Mexican, as well as an actor in more that 50 movies, he's one of the most
great representative of the Mexican folk songs. My father had some of his dics.
Iman, Califato Independiente, was a band in the
70s from Sevilla too. It was Andalusian Rock and progressive music. Recommended its first CD.
Iguana Tango, I like them
personally, and they're here by their good 80s covers of Spanish bands, but most of all because thank to them I discovered a Nacho Cano's
song (Vivimos siempre juntos) that has become a reference for us. A lyric we love.
