Perro de Agua Español :: Elíndalo :: Spanish Water Dog

As some of you know, this little ailment wich I talked about here in some occasion, in fact was an acute heart attack. The past 18th June 2007 the ambulance took me in time to the Alcorcon Hospital, where the Doc Lin's skill and his wonderful hands let me be still around here (so to speak!!). Months were passing by, and thank to my family, and my friends I recovered my fitness (as many as I can), and above all the excitement for live again and anjoy of all and each moment. When all's said and done, my cardiologist is right, and I oughta think I'm a lucky guy, as I'm here for tell it. Others are not too lucky in similar situations. Well then, with my beautiful stent in the artery, I had much time to think and think over, and, at last, dare to take a decision, not very easy, at first sight, but maybe in a little time turn out to be gratifying. It was months of looking inside and look if I was able to reinvent my life again, with my beloved wife and daughter as main accomplices. Give up all the things they teach you to seem essential. Security... stability... woe mum!

And it has been like this, easier than I thinked, I've resigned in my wonderful work as Promotion Director in Locomotive Records, we have put our house for sale in Villanueva de Perales (well, bank's house) and going to Valencia, we've place ourselves in a simple home, next to Líria (the city of the music... you know, music follow me anywhere I go!!! and I like it. And here we are, with all upside down, with lots of things to do, feeling as when we get married 30 years ago or like the Argentinian Moris would say: Feeling owner of my dreams. We have moved Elindalo and with it we've invented a brand new life, around, of course, of our wonderful Spanish Water Dogs.

Bit by bit I had been dismissing fear and depression's ghost (they stalked very near)... look how the life changes for an incident so important! That's why I didn't take care of this web that I know much of you visit everyday, I did not answer many emails in wich you requested information (I didn't feel up to anything!). Sincerely, I'm sorry.

As you can see in the pictures, we're on repairs and we will go on like this almost one month, it's an old house ans we are doing it up little by little and also adapting it to our need. We're building beautiful Boxes (it will be called McFly Boxes because of the band and the film Back to the Future), it will be only 7 for can look after to our pets as they deserve. Then, we have a little plot that my daughter Angel has named as "Juanita Smith's plot" (in honor of her mum. She calls her like this joking) there we will care of a few fruit trees we have. The home is named "Sea of clouds", a song that Teyma and me love. We have created one space called "The park" to get in it to our dogs when it'll be necessary (The Park is a Victor & Diego's great song). Also there is the Can WC, for the exclusive cleaning of our "guys", and for end up "The Merry's spot" (dedicated to my father) where we keep the fodder, tools, dog's boxes etc. That is (it will be) the new Elindalo. This is the dream that when I was rebel and young I kept in mind, live like this... Who said fear?

Sandra y Alex, with Kali (Beyonce de Elindalo) spend 2008 summer in Menorca. A good and advisable place if you haven't been there before. It'll charm you. Kali, as you can see in the picture, gets along with rocks and waves like a good Spanish Water Dog. She's from B Litter, born in Madrid and her parents are Candela and Lupo.

The past Sarturday, 24th May 2008 we went to the Talavera's Show (Toledo) and the judge José Carlos Sastre decided Turka was apt for breed and also we thank the nice words he gave over to this excellent unit because of her quality. As usual, we've seen Valneboeiro's family led for Eugenio and Paloma, Carlos from Agua Salada, Daniel from Cerro del Castillo and some other usual from the dog rings. Angeles and Ernesto send us this Coco picture with 15 months old. How you can check this SWD unit is growing up of an amazing way and is obvious that he's in lovely hands. We cheer up watching him so wonderful. In whatever ring he could trounce with no problems, though from Elindalo we try hard day by day not to compete (in a world rather lacking in rigour and ethics, and we don't believe it by no means) but for get a better breed as far as possible in our modest odds. To the facts we refer and we enjoy with them.

For lack of deliver Chavela to her new owner (Ann & Gary), the puppies of C litter are all with their new parents. On the pic of the left you can see Paloma with Carmona of Elindalo, who will be named Iza. Also, you can see Camaron of Elindalo in his new home whising us Merry Xmas. This friendly photo send us from Vigo, Elvira, Sara and Pablo, and also they tell us that have baptized Camaron as Corso. We hope that you all send us pics of the puppies the first days with you. Last Thursday (25th) Runa brings into the world 8 precious Spanish Water Dog puppies (5 females and 3 males). First thing in the morning (around 6 am more or less) she brokes waters and began to dilate. We were looking after her all day long. This time we've change the childbirth place, instead in the entrance of our bedrooms, Runa decided that the kitchen was a good place (maybe because of she watched before Candela in her litters... goodness knows!!!), the fact is that we got ready all there, in a nook, to welcome at 5 pm to Chavela of Elindalo, the first arrival, with 420 gr. A black female very similar to her daddy Lupo. Half an hour later arrived Celia of Elindalo, with a similar weigh to Chavela and very similar to her mum, two-colors brown and white. From here, began the colours aquarelle (like Toquinho will sings). 6:15 pm Carmona of Elindalo borns, white with brown spots female, 430 gr. The first male, baptized as Calamaro of Elindalo, he appears at 7:55 pm. An amazing white with black spots and 440 gr specimen. Whithout time for breath, 20 minutes later, Camboria of Elindalo borns with 360 gr of weight, two-coulors brown and white (similar to her mum too). Runa goes very good and she's behaving stupendously, even more than we waited. She takes care of the puppies like an real veteran and is her first birth. We hadn't to breake amniotic sacs, nor umbilical cord like in Candela's litters. We're very proud about her and how all is passing by. Mum Teyma (my beloved) is having not much work this time!. 9:45 pm, she plays hard to get (stars are like this), but Cher of Elindalo appears, white with black spots female and 446 gr. Runa is tired, it's normal, and we are too... tick-tock, tick-tock... we are looking after wrapped in a light sleep and when we thank all was finished... almost at 3 am Camaron of Elindalo appears, a brown male with 450 gr. of weight. 8 new puppies in home and we're remembering the TV serie "Eight is enough". The mum and the babys are all perfectly. In the left you've got some photos of the protagonists of our joy. Back keeps more than 20 hours of work, labor and care. Soon we'll upload the birth video, the single pics of the puppies and the reason of their names (although we guess that some of them you know why). These puppies will be availables for deliver to their new families from 17th to 21st of December (more or less).

We are waiting our C litter of imminent way. If our reckoning don't fail and counting the full moon of this Friday, we think among Thursday and Sunday we'll have got new puppies (from 25th to 28tn October 2007). Boss of Elindalo is now in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) with Le Quesne family. At the photo taken by Rowena we can see Neil with his two children (Asher and Campbell) next to Boss, who has been baptized in his new home as Milo. Maria Luisa and Maria Salette proud pose in Elindalo when they came to pick up to Brown with their parents. Hence, a tender greeting for all Miranda Family, leaded by César and wife. Brown's personal album will be available when we have got photos.
